Marvin's fight with Glioblastomia stage 4 Cancer.

This is the second fight of my life dealing with Cancer. 6yrs after 9/11/01 I had gotten Thyroid Cancer that I was lucky to have the tumors removed at Good Sam's on Long Island NY. Now here we are Nov 17, 2023 I collapsed here in my home and found myself waking up 5 hours later with a massive headache and a broken toe on my left foot. (I'm sure there's a funny story about how I broke that toe) I went to my local Dr and he sent me for an MRI. Meanwhile here I was driving to my Dr's appointments I had no idea that I had a stage 4 tumor growing and pressing on the left side of my brain. I was lucky enough to be able to have surgery at University of Florida Shands in Gainesville and hopefully the surgery buys me the time to be able to complete a trial that the University offered me. This has been tremendous thing to go through but now the bills have been piling up and they're asking for over 9k a month and I had to charge all my Chemo pills on credit cards. This week I got notified that I would be responsible for the chemotherapy I would have to take for three months before being able to get this new Car-T Cell injection that I know will save my life. I also will be responsible for my 30 day hospital stay during the trial. Any help that my family receives will help pay down this massive medical debt and maybe we will be able to sleep at night better not having to worry so much. A little might help my family a long way.
