One of the hardest things to do is think about losing a parent- when it actually happens and you find yourself in a whirlwind of emotions. You're not sure how to move, what the next step is or what makes sense, your mind is foggy, heart is heavy and everything seems to hurt; that's our position. Our father passed away suddenly and unexpectedly leaving us (his four children) with a level of pain only those who've been here can understand. He was the kindest, most loving, silly, genuine, most warm hearted man anyone could know, and if you knew him you loved him, and he loved you. There was never a dull moment when "Wig" was there, he was so charming he could convince a polar bear to buy ice lol, he always had a joke or a story to tell and even in his dark/sadness he smiled. Our father was a family man and though far from perfect, was the best dad he knew how to be..eventually we'll pick up the pieces and begin to heal, grow stronger together in his absence, while keeping his memory and all of the good times alive. Thank you dad for our lives, your love and for being true to those who encountered you, you blessed so many people with your presence and will be forever, greatly and deeply missed.
