Help Amelia battle breast cancer

Hello Friends and Family,

I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help. On June 24th, 2025, our beloved Amelia Cunningham was diagnosed with strongly estrogen-positive and HER2-negative breast cancer. Her prognosis is good, but treatment and recovery will be a long process. She will have a double mastectomy on August 8th, 2025, followed by radiation for a period of time. At a minimum, she will need to take four weeks off work for the first part of her treatment and recovery. Phase 2 will be breast reconstruction, where she will need to take more time off.

She’s managing the emotional side of this news with help from her husband Nathan, her 10-year-old daughter Malia, her mom Gilma, and her friends. At this scary, stressful, and challenging time, her focus should be on her mental health, her treatment, and recovery.

To help alleviate some of the financial strain on her family, I have set up a GoFundMe. Funds raised will help her pay bills, feed her family, and pay medical expenses. Surviving cancer shouldn’t mean financial ruin, but that’s the unfortunate situation millions of families are put in every day.
