Kidney transplant expenses

Recently my dad learned that he has severe kidney disease. As of Monday his kidneys are functioning at 9%. Due to this low level, he has to begin dialysis as soon as possible. A week ago my dad had began the process of testing to get a transplant, since he has a live donor. He is continuing with that process, going for multiple tests and procedures to prepare. Unfortunately there is a portion of the cost of the anti rejection medications that insurance does NOT pay for. Those medications are vital for ensuring the success of the transplant and cost more than $8000. Please assist our family as we try to raise enough money to get our dad the kidney transplant he needs to survive.
