KFM Uganda, Charity Paddleboard Marathon

I will be taking on a 26.2mile river paddle board challenge to raise the much needed funds to complete the Kakina Freedom Ministries Office in Uganda. We have been working hard behind the scenes at Kakina Freedom Ministries, to fully establish ourselves as an official NGO. A requirement of NGO status in Uganda is to have an office. Through generous donations, we have been able to build the office foundations and structure. However, there is a need to finish the roofing, render, windows and door before the end of the year.

NOT JUST AN OFFICE. As awareness grows in the local area of KFMs vision to strengthen families by providing school burseries for local children. We have an increasing need for a small designated building, separate to the main KFM home, for people to visit to request help.

Through donating today, you will help establish KFM as an official NGO and provide a space where we can invite the community to bring their requests.

Having already provided 10 bursaries for children in both primary and secondary school your donation will help us to support many more children.

Our 3 year vision is to see 100 children supported and sponsored to attend school. A life changing opportunity for many families.

We are also currently working on a website, so watch this space.

THE CHALLENGE, a 26.2mile 8 hour paddleboard from Bangor on Dee to Chester. The equivalent distance from Liverpool to Manchester or Dover to Calais.
