Hello family and friends,

Our dear friend Renicka has been diagnosed with Acute Myelocytic Leukemia. She’d been feeling a little fatigued while preparing to PCS her and Logan to Charlotte. After the truck pack out, she started having difficulty breathing and went to the ER. On 30Mar2024, based on her evaluation she was admitted. The next few days have been a surreal world wind. She will be receiving treatment for at least 4 weeks and feels that she needs to continue with the move to Charlotte as they, especially baby Logan, are living out of bags right now. Therefore, she is being medically transported to Charlotte, NC. This has also been met with challenges. Because of some issues with her referrral, she’s having to cover the almost $10K cost out of pocket. Prayerfully that will be reimbursed. Logan will be traveling by personal vehicle with his God Parents who have been taking care of him and traveling back and forth from Mobile, AL to Pensacola everyday to make sure that he see’s his mommy.

So, the way that we can help her is by providing support for her family and friends that will be trying to maintain an around the clock physical presence with her and Logan. Any donations would help to offset travel expenses, lodging, and meals for those going to be at her bedside so that she never has to be alone. Any amount is appreciated. Thank you so much!
