Hi, my name is Alison, and I am raising emergency medical funds for my best friend's family.

On March 28, Mike was having suspicious chest pain--which was quickly discovered to be a heart attack. Things took a drastic turn as Mike was admitted to the ICU and has been unable to leave since that day. Mike has been fighting through bypasses in his heart, several surgeries, a collapsed lung and various intrusive procedures that have assisted in keeping his body going.

Although Mike is pushing through this traumatic time, there seems to be a new barrier and challenge with every new procedure.

Mike is like my second Dad, and I want his wife and daughter to be able to focus solely on him and his recovery--instead of having to deal with the tremendous financial burden that comes with unexpected medical costs.
