Jody Moore just might be the luckiest man I know.
He has been blessed with a beautiful family-Wife for 21 years, Stephanie.....

....daughter Kirstin, a hard working Pre-Med student at UTD...
.....AND Cuddles the Cat
... who all adore him. What's not to adore?
I work with Stephanie, the sweetest woman you'll ever meet.

Avid music enthusiasts and collectors, the entire Moore family is constantly winning concert tickets, back stage and meet & greets. All it seems to take is one phone call or email, and they're in!
Blake Shelton with friend Russel

Disturbed!!!

American Idol's Bo Bice

and who wouldn't wait in line to have Steven Tyler sign your guitar-something else that Jody WON!
...
Check out their huge vinyl and memoriabilia collection!

Unfortunately, something else Jody has been blessed with is Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency- a genitic condition that can lead to lung disease and liver disease. In Jody's case, it has attacked his liver with a vengence. In a few short months his condition has degenerated to life threatening levels.
Last week he was transported via Care Flight to Methodist hospital Liver Transplant unit in Houston to begin the arduous process necessary to be considered for placement on a transplant list.
Moments ago, we received word that he was accepted!
Now comes the waiting.

Now that you know a little bit about this wonderful family, here comes the part where I hope you find it in your hearts to help. Stephanie is now the family's sole source of income. We are BLESSED with amazing benefits at this company we work for, but benefits do not cover all. Expenses are accumulating, and WHEN Jody gets his new liver, Stephanie will have to take leave under the FMLA for a minimum of 30 days to stay with Jody in Houston, during which time she will not be getting a pay check.
Your donation will help this family through what is already proving to be the greatest challenge of their lives.
If all that you feel you can contribute are prayers-they are greatly appreciated. No monitary donation is too small-every little bit helps.
If the Moore family's story has touched you, please click SHARE to reach as many people as possible.
Thank you, and God Bless
