On the morning of February 3rd, the home that my family was renting had an electrical fire that started in the garage, and quickly spread throughout the home. There were four residents living on the property including my mother (Rhonda), my grandma (Denise), my brother (Daniel), and his girlfriend (Brittany) along with their dog Prince. Two neighbors came to help and called 911 and one of them risked his own life to save the life of my grandmother who is disabled and bed bound. He also was quick to break back in and save the life of their dog Prince. Thankfully they made it out safely with their lives, and everything else is replaceable.    Unfortunately, this is not the first time my family has had to start over after losing everything. Hurricane Matthew flooded their home a few years ago with two feet of water and they lost everything then too. We always say it's just stuff and we can and will rebuild.     My mother spends her days caring for the elderly and sick in home health care. My family has been through a fair share of hardships lately. If you find it in your heart to help in any way you can we are forever grateful!
