Back in May of 2019, Ryan went into his Primary Care Physician for some neck pain that had been bothering him for sometime. His doctor suggested an MRI to look further into his pain. Several hours later, the doctor called him with some unforgettable news...the word aneurysm was something he never thought he'd hear. After several doctors visits with various scans and tests, the neurosurgeon confirmed that is was a brain aneurysm that was the size of a raspberry. Due to the complexity and location of his aneurysm, they quickly found out that their neurosurgeon in Columbia, SC was unable to perform this type of surgery. After weeks of research and processing this type of news, they found the best doctor was located in Phoenix, AZ. On July 23rd, Ryan had a craniotomy to preform an "A3-A3 ACA bypass and distal occlusion of a large A2 ACA aneurysm." According to Dr. Lawton (head neurosurgeon), "it couldn't have gone any better". Praise Jesus!!! Thank you for all of your love and support you all have given to Ryan and Jacque during this whole process. They appreciate the texts, the gift cards, and most importantly, your prayers. One can only imagine the expenses during this process. The money raised from the GoFundMe will be used towards medical bills and expenses from their trip in Phoenix. Any amount donated is appreciated.
