It’s with a heavy heart to inform you that our beloved mother and grandmother Bridget Fitzsimons of kells co. Meath Ireland has been heartbreakingly diagnosed with Motor Neurone disease. Her illness requires her to be confined to an electric wheelchair and around the clock professional help, which means, sadly for Bridget, she is unable to return home. Our next best solution for Bridget is to at least to get her back home into the nursing home in kells so she can be close to her family and friends and resume some sort of normality as she faces this next chapter fighting Motor Neurone. Myself Diane, Tracey, Bridget’s daughters, with the help of your generosity, are hoping to raise funds to cover the nursing home expenses and other medical expenses and hopefully, if possible, purchased a second hand wheelchair accessible vehicle to give our dear mam some memorable and much desired days out.
