Hello!
Director and Writer Andres Gonzalez launches his Senior Capstone project called "Keys." Based off true events, Keys is a story about being young, in love, and reckless.
Jessica and David’s intimate moment between the sheets is cut short when Jessica's detective stepfather, Mark, returns home unexpectedly.
The story behind Keys is based off a true story that a friend experienced during high school. With this film, we are looking to tell the story of Jessica's and David’s experience one day after school because we feel it highlights a point in life when many adolescents first begin “living.” The sense of adrenaline mixed with emotions, love, uncontrollable feelings and desires often have young people do things without thinking of the consequences, but coincidentally can leave you feeling alive.
Our wonderful cast for this project is led by Craig Anton playing Jessica's stepfather Mark. Mr. Anton, currently a Performing Arts professor at SCAD, is also an actor and comedian and is most notable for being one of the original cast of comedians on sketch comedy television series MADtv and for his role as Lloyd Diffy on the television series Phil of the Future. Following Mr. Anton are Burke Swanson, a Senior Performing Arts student at SCAD, playing David and student actress Stephanie Guevara playing Jessica.
Our estimated budget for this project is $2,500. We are asking all of our family and friends for a small donation to help this wonderful project come to life. Donations of all amounts are always welcome! Thank you all so very much for taking the time to read about Keys and our team's vision and a special thank you to everyone who has donated!
