Help Nami Get Life-Saving Heart Surgery

Hello, my name is Perla and I am reaching out to you because my beautiful angel, Nami, is in need of an urgent surgery. In November, my brother sent me a picture of a stray dog that had been roaming Dallas for several months. She was malnourished and suffering from some minor infections. With the help of some mechanics from a local shop, we were able to capture her and bring her home. She is a very playful and loving dog that can never give enough kisses. She loves to play, walk, and eat lots of food. She has brought abundant joy to our lives, but unfortunately, she was recently diagnosed with Patent Ductus Arteriosus. This is a common congenital heart defect in dogs. While in the womb, this duct is utilized to provide oxygen to the fetus, and after birth, it is supposed to close within the first 6 months of the pup's life. In Nami's case, this duct never closed and is now leading to her having an enlarged left side of the heart. If left untreated, this can result in heart failure. Sadly, the cost of the surgery, medications, and recovery care is more than we can manage on our own. We humbly ask for help.
