Hi, I'm Kevin Carpio a senior dance major at Loyola Marymount University. For my senior Thesis "Pursuit of Purpose: An Anthology," I will be creating a dance film that explores ideas of purpose in career, community, and life.

I'm hoping to fund enough money to pay for costumes, renting filming locations, permits, and equipment rentals. I really want the film to come out as best as possible; realistically, filming is very expensive.

Thesis statement of my film:

For my senior project, The Pursuit of Purpose, I’ll be creating an anthology of dances that will ask the question, “what is purpose?” Purpose holds different meanings depending on the situation in which you find yourself and my thesis will examine 3 different areas of purpose: purpose in your community, purpose in your career, and purpose in life. I hope to gain a deeper understanding of life, what it means to live life with purpose, and where those ideas can take you. My thesis will be filmed and presented at the LMU senior thesis dance show in April 2023.
