Hi, Kevin Smith is my name.
I’ve been a member of Bayview golf club for 32 years, and Bayview Golf Club has been known as the friendly club on the Northern Beaches. You wouldn’t want to be a member of any other club.
On the 4th of May 2021, I will be walking and playing 50 holes of golf in the one day. I will have a cart driver to carry the clubs which will be a good friend of mine, Olwyn Johnstone. The combined total of years between us is 160 years.
Another good friend of mine, Brian Gibson, will be caddying for me.
A week ago, I saw an item on the Channel 7 news with a nine-year-old boy and his seven-year-old sister and their mum. She was getting a food parcel for the family, the interviewer said to the small boy “what are you doing here?”, the small boy replied, “We are getting some food, as we are fairly hungry”, His small sister said “Yes, mum is getting some food for us, and our house has gone away, and we don’t know where”.
If that doesn’t touch on the heart strings, WOW!!
If you could help these poor people who have had terrible flooding in the Windsor district and out west, they would really appreciate it. The funds raised will go to Food Bank who will distribute the parcels of food to voluntary workers and then to the necessary victims of this terrible disaster.
