I am funded by the NHS for one wheelchair (a manual one).
I live in Brighton and Hove. It is incredibly difficult to navigate the city in my manual chair. It is difficult to push up hills, and the terrain is very bumpy and uneven.
Also, if there are any issues with my manual chair, which increasingly there are, I am stuck in my flat (unable to access the community, go to events and visit my friends and family), until my chair is fixed. It makes me feel really isolated.
It would mean so much to me to be able to get another chair (a power one). Having it would allow me the freedom to live my life to it's fullest.
I know things are really difficult for most people at the moment, but any donation, however small would be very much appreciated.
