Kevin’s Journey to Recovery — For Him, For Bowser.

On April 1st, our beloved Kevin suffered a traumatic brain injury in a serious accident in Austin, TX. Since then, he has remained unconscious but has recently shown signs of response that have given us hope. Kevin has been stabilized and is now being transferred to a long-term recovery hospital where he will likely remain for the next year as he begins the long and difficult journey of rehabilitation.

If you know Kevin, you know he is one of the most selfless, caring, and hilarious people you’ll ever meet. His sense of humor lights up a room, and his love for his dog Bowser is unmatched. He’s the kind of person who’d drop everything to help someone in need, and now it’s our turn to be there for him.

His parents, Keena and Dennis, have taken on the immense responsibility of managing his care, medical bills, and living expenses while continuing to maintain their own lives. This has placed an enormous emotional and financial strain on them — something no parent should ever have to endure alone.
