Kevin's Journey to Recovery

Dear Friends and Family,

We are reaching out to you today to ask for your support for Kevin. Kevin is currently facing a difficult time in his life, and we want to help him focus on his recovery without stressing about finances. Kevin is a father who is financially responsible for his two teenage boys and his dog, Murphy.

Kevin's health issues began around Thanksgiving when he started experiencing severe abdominal pain. After being admitted to the hospital on December 4th, he was diagnosed with Diverticulitis, which caused perforations in his intestines and abscesses. He has undergone several treatments, including medications, IV antibiotics, a drain, and a PIC line. A follow-up CT scan on December 19th revealed more issues, leading to another hospital stay. On December 23rd, Kevin underwent a lengthy surgery to tackle the infection, abscesses, and a ruptured colon. The surgery was over 5 hours long, and they could not complete all the repairs needed, so additional surgeries will be needed in a few months. Kevin now faces a long recovery, with more surgeries. He is also showing some signs of kidney issues that may require dialysis. He has been in the hospital for 18 days (this time around), with hopes he will be out soon.

Kevin has shown incredible strength throughout this ordeal, but the financial burden is heavy. Medical bills, ongoing treatments, and an uncertain future have made it difficult for him to focus on his recovery.

We are hoping that this Go Fund Me will help relieve some of the stress of the mounting bills and allow Kevin to focus on getting healthy and back to his normal life.

It is important to note that Kevin will not be able to return to his normal work for 6-8 months after his hospitalization. This means that he will be unable to provide for his family during this time.
