This is Haig writing to you all in collaboration with 'Kevin's Freedom Flight'.
We have created this 'GoFundMe' to assist Kevin on the Journey of his Lifetime.
The short version of what is to follow is that this is a chance to save Kevin's life and in the least to give him his life back! Kevin has attempted all forms of treatment to break his longstanding addiction to opiates. The approach he is ready to apply is the only truly proven method and is a rigorous protocol administered by professional and highly experienced practitioners.
If you are interested in any way in saving/re-gifting Kevin's life please donate now, and know Kevin himself is contributing with funds he is saving (no small feat for him under the circumstances), and that he is committed to reimbursing all supporters financially or in any way deemed appropriate. As many of you know Kevin is a beautiful Soul that has been beleaguered by opiate addictions for more than half of his life. The triggers that caused these addictions go back to early childhood trauma as they do for many that suffer in these states of sublimation of 'Pain and Suffering.'
The wounds of our past can often surface in the spiraling dance of shame, pain, blame and addiction.
Not one to shift blame, Kevin instead turned the shame of transgressions suffered through childhood betrayals of trust, on himself for many years.
We have all thought of Kevin often throughout his years of his addiction, fearfully anticipating the day news might arrive that he had finally lost his battle with opiates.
fortunately, that day has not arrived yet, and instead, we find ourselves on the precipice of a long-awaited moment of transformation.
Kevin has approached me with a heartfelt plea for assistance in finally breaking the powerful bonds of opiates and addiction in general.
Throughout the years Kevin has attempted various conventional methods of rehabilitation sadly to no effect. You may consider me the conduit to his 'Hail Mary' attempt at a 'New Life' and an opportunity to fully rejoin the community of his friends and family.
For this reason, Kevin and I have corresponded and come up with a pathway to healing that will best serve 'Kevin's Freedom Flight.'
We all want to see Kevin cleared of these addictions, (currently, he is using fentanyl as a mere maintenance tool). He is beyond the point of 'getting high' with opiates and merely uses fentanyl to avoid the classic withdrawals familiar with such intense addiction.
He is now emotionally, psychologically and physically prepared to meet the challenges necessary to break this destructive addiction.
I know many have felt let down or disappointed by Kevin's past actions. In those times his addiction allowed him to manipulate situations to his advantage to continue feeding the addiction. In some cases, this selfish feeding of the addiction was experienced emotionally, financially or both by those that love him and care for his well-being.
Addiction is a powerful 'Slave Master' whose destructive effects know no boundaries. One thing we can be certain of is that the one person Kevin acknowledges he disappointed the most, was himself.
Kevin is committed to redeeming himself and in the process, rebuilding friendships and relationships that were torn in the wake of his addiction.
Please help us on Kevin's path to reclaiming his life, friendships, family and future.
