Kevin's Fight Against Brain Cancer

From Sue & Kevin:

On November 13, 2021, after Kevin had been going through a month of severe headaches, we went to the ER in St. George, Utah. After a CT scan and an MRI on his head, Kevin was diagnosed with a “mean, aggressive” brain tumor, in the words of the neurosurgeon who talked with us. This tumor is a Glioblastoma (GBM) which isn’t curable at this time. The doctor told Kevin that if he chose surgery, the tumor had to come out that week. Kevin went into surgery on November 18, 2021, and the surgeon said he got the medium-sized tumor out and what lay ahead was chemo and radiation.

Kevin went through the surgery well and now we drive 40 miles each way Monday-Friday for his radiation treatments. I am working full time, but Kevin is unable to work for now as he is still in treatment. He is on disability until he can return to work, but we will soon be struggling to pay our bills as the medical bills are extremely high. Kevin is a very hard worker and has been at his current job for almost 17 years, so not being able to work has been tough on him.
