Who this will help

My name is Lara and I am Kevin's aunt. I set up this fundraiser to help Kevin Lobello, my smart and beautiful nephew, who was diagnosed with DIPG just before Thanksgiving 2023. The funds from this Gofundme will go directly towards expenses relating to Kevin's treatment and care.

Why I'm fundraising

Kevin just turned 8 years old and has been diagnosed with DIPG. It's a debilitating form of cancer in the brain that has and will affect him physically and psychologically. He is going through a combination of radiation and chemo treatment which should extend his life, but there have been no known survivors of this disease.

The impact of your support

The funds raised here will go directly towards the costs of Kevin's treatment and care. Any remaining will be donated to the Violet Foundation, a DIPG foundation that funds research and provides assistance to families impacted by this awful disease.
