Kevin’s Double Cycling Challenge for Hatchside Children!

Donation protected
I’m taking on two of the UK's toughest cycling challenges back-back to raise funds for the children at Hatchside!

My name is Kevin and I’m the Site Manager at Hatchside Infants and Juniors.

Everyday I get to see how the right playground and classroom equipment helps to support learning, movement and confidence in our children. Small additions make a huge difference to a child’s experience at school and with funding often limited, I’ve decided to take on this challenge myself!

In May 2026 I will complete:

• The Fred Whitton - 113 miles, 3,500m of climbing on 10th May 2026
Widely regarded as one of the hardest sportives in the UK, set in the Lake District with relentless climbs.

• The Tour of the Peak - 115 miles, 3,000m of climbing on 17th May 2026
A demanding Peak District ride known for steep gradients and constant elevation.

Each ride alone is extremely challenging and completing both will be a serious endurance test!

My bike will be live-tracked during both rides so supporters can follow my journey in real time to see the progress as it unfolds.

Your support will help massively by providing additional equipment and resources that enhance daily experiences for children across Hatchside. This supports plays a huge role in our childrens development and confidence.

If you’re able to support, any amount genuinely makes a difference.

Donate, follow the ride and be part of something positive for the children at Hatchside!

Thank you for your support.
