This story is about my dad, Kevin.
On Sept. 15, 2015, my dad had a rare double-sided massive stroke, leaving him paralyzed except for moving his eyelids. Dad has since defied all odds with prayers and determination. He is able to sit in a wheelchair with the help of a lift and to move his left side arm and leg a little.
He won't be home for the holidays but with your help, someday he will go home to a van, medical lift, bed and wheelchair as well as some home care and other necessities not covered by his insurance.
Please help make his total healing a reality. Any amount is appreciated as well as your good wishes and prayers.
100% goes to my dad and his wife, Elizabeth. They are on a fixed income, retired and rent in low income housing.
Generous with helping others, they have spent the past few years volunteering to help stroke victims, never realizing that one of them would someday suffer the most major of all strokes.
My dad has always been there for me and this is a way I can give back to him and Elizabeth who have always been an inspiration.
Thank you for your generosity. It is greatly appreciated.
Blessings,
Scott
