On January 13th Kevin was found in his apartment and brought to Hartford Hospital. Kevin had a stroke and amongst his disorientation, fell hitting his head causing a huge amount of blood loss. Through the confusion he was unable to call for help where thankfully a friend noticed he had not been answering his phone and dialed 911. Since then Kevin has improved significantly but is left with quite a mess in his apartment that needs to be professionally cleaned. Through countless calls to state and town organizations we have come to no avail in getting this enormous bill paid paid for. Sadly Kevin is left with out a home to go to until his apartment has been cleaned by proper means. Kevin has beat cancer twice and as you probably have figured, he does not have the funds to pay for this himself. This is where I ask you, the community and friends of Kevin Barry to come together and donate anything you can to get him back home where he belongs and that is at Greenwoods Gardens where he has spent the last 5 years helping his elderly and handicap neighbors on a daily basis.
