Kev had found his purpose for life again through Jameson and Julian. Being a father meant the world to him and he was on a straight path to try and give them a better life. We were all proud of him and loved watching him find such joy with those boys.
Kev was more than a friend, he was more like family to those he cared about. He would give you the last dollar in his pocket if you needed it. He was the kind of guy you meet and never forget. He was genuine, with a heart of gold and a contagious laugh. Of course he had another side, a darker past. But his story was proof you can change your life. Despite all the odds against him after releasing from prison he remained sober, and just wanted to be a good daddy and walk down a better path... AND HE WAS!!! For the first time in his adult life he was making all the right decisions. He had changed his life and was determined to do it differently this time. Tragically we will never get to see all of his hard work write the rest of his story... it was cut short at the best part.
We will never be able to bring back these boys father... But I believe that those boys deserve to know how much their daddy was loved. And that we stand with them, not just in the midst of this tragedy but for life. Because this undoubtedly will forever change theirs.
Any money raised will be spilt and go into two bank accounts in Jameson and Julian Vaughn’s names. They can use it to buy things like school clothes, or keep their shoe game up (we all know how kev was about his shoes), or play sports, really anything they decide they are into. The boys are growing quickly, and we would like to provide them with support for the things kev would have paid for.
No donation is too small, everything adds up and will go towards reminding them that their daddy is still very much alive and living through all of us and our love for them.
Although nothing can ease the pain of losing Kevin in such a tragic way. We believe that he would want first to make sure that his boys are taken care of. We’ve made a promise to watch over these sweet boys, and this is just the beginning...
We know Kev is in heaven right now riding with angels... smiling down realizing how much he really is loved.
