In July of this year, Kevin - the most selfless and wonderful husband / father / friend - was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.  Treatments and hospitalizations have become part of his life.  Until recently, family and friends have been able to help out with trips for dialysis (3x a week) and doctors appointments.  There has been a stream of visiting nurses and therapists coming to the house.

Now Kevin's level of care has become even more demanding.  Kevin's wife, Chris, has been juggling her job and coordinating care thus far, but she now needs to be home.  Just home.  In addition to the friends and family lending a hand, Chris needs financial support while she is away from her job and instead caring for Kevin full time.

Kevin and Chris are part of our close circle of friends.  The core of our group has been together since elementary school - that's at least 40 years!  We so want them to be able to face these next days and weeks with their focus not being on bills, but on comfort and care... and family.
