Kevin is currently undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer, a diagnosis that has turned his world upside down in a very short amount of time. While he had fully planned to continue working, the reality of treatment has been a lot more physically exhausting than expected. Between appointments, side effects, and recovery time, working consistently just isn’t possible.

Right now, Kevin’s energy needs to go toward one thing: getting through treatment and focusing on healing.

Unfortunately, the financial strain doesn’t pause when life does. Many medications and supportive treatments aren’t fully covered, and OHIP doesn’t cover everything involved in cancer care. On top of that, everyday expenses like housing costs, utilities, and basic living expenses continue to pile up, adding stress at a time when he needs rest the most.

We’re hoping to raise $20,000 to help relieve that pressure over the next few months while undergoing treatment, allowing Kevin to focus on his health without the worry of how he’ll make ends meet while he’s unable to work.
