WINGNUTS AUTOMOTIVE NEEDS HELP RECOVERING FROM A FIRE!

Hello friends,

For over 30 years, Wingnuts has been a shop with the goal of providing individualized service to the public. Not just automotive paint and body, but fabrication and custom work as well.

It is very unfortunate that a fire broke out during the night a largely destroyed or damaged the entire contents of the shop. After a lengthy investigation by Richmond fire investigators, it was determined that the fire was started by a butane 'jack lighter', which are the torches that have the ability to lock the trigger.

These style torches are now banned, and being phased out, a bit too late unfortunately.

The repercussions are extensive. Myself, and employees, have totally lost our incomes, clients have lost our service and belongings, the mental shock is just immeasurable...I assure you. The 30 year old machine that is Wingnuts, just came to a bone jarring stop...

So! Now it is time to rebuild. I can't do this alone. I need the help from the public I have always tried to serve to the best of my ability.

The small contributions will add up, and we can get this machine off the ground again...I thank all in advance for their contributions...no matter how big, or small.

The financial repercussions are also extensive...it has taken over two months just to sort and clean the wreckage. Then everything has to be stored until either a new space is found, or the estimated four months elapses that is estimated to repair the $350,000 in damage to the building.

I will post updates here, and on social media, so all can see where their contributions have gone, and perhaps you may see your name on the wall in the next workspace.
