The sorrow of losing a loved one early in life is profound and painful.
Kevin met his wife, Shirley, as a young teenager, they married on September 13, 2003. During this entire time, he worked in the union as an extremely talented and well respected finish carpenter. To help in honoring Kevin who is survived by his wife Shirley, sons Joseph (16), Shayne (15) and Kevin (7), and daughter Elise (10); we ask you to make any size contribution to help relieve the financial burden of losing the "bread winner".
Shirley lost her husband and father to her four children September 2nd...on the second day of National Suicide awareness month.
Below is what she wrote...at 10pm that same day:
"In all my life, I never met a man who was, quite simply, more good. He was extremely handsome, remarkably intelligent and possessed an indefinable and irresistible character. We were best friends trying to work out our problems in the way only we knew how. I love Kevin so much, so very much. I was 14 years old when I fell in love with him.
I have loved him every day since. I am blessed because I have experienced a love that few have known, a childhood fairytale, with a man I called, my favorite person. We saw our share of dark days, but the recent days were the darkest.
Kevin succumbed to his pain September 2, 1:31am.
My greatest comfort, other than our 4 children, is the paradoxical treasure he left behind in a letter, “I won’t stop loving you till death”.
Papa, we will forever be thankful for having such a precious and tender man in our life."
