So many of us are still reeling from the recent and sudden loss of our dear friend, Kevin. Perhaps none more acutely than his beloved husband and life partner, Naoki. Many of us have had the wonderful privilege of being loved and supported by both Naoki and also Kevin during his all too short life. Those of us who knew Kevin can easily remember his generous spirit, contagious laugh, impish smile, and open heart. To say that Kevin will be missed by Naoki and all who loved him is a tremendous understatement. There are no words to do justice to the insurmountable grief left in the wake of his loss.
As friends of Naoki, we are aware of the very real financial concerns that will stem from Kevin’s medical care and cremation. It is our desire to ease this burden so that Naoki may fully concentrate on grieving the loss of his partner unencumbered by the weight of looming medical and burial bills. We are asking for any financial donation that you are able to contribute, as truly any amount of money will go far in helping ease some of his concerns. This money will go directly to Naoki for the purpose of covering these costs. We appreciate your time and your contributions.
