Kevin Scarborough Memorial

My name is Colleen Brown, and I am writing on behalf of our dear friend, Renee Scarborough. As many of you know, Renee lost her husband and best friend, Kevin Scarborough on January 22, 2018. It was a shock to all of us.

Kevin was one of the kindest (and funniest) men I have ever met. He was a great friend to my husband Tad, and to so many of you.  Tad worked with both Kevin and Renee back in the 1990's at Bennigan's on St. Pete Beach and we all knew what a special couple they were.  Earlier, they had met at Kevin's workplace on Valentine's Day in Annapolis, MD.  Renee walked in with a leopard-print banana clip in her hair and it was love at first sight.  :)  6 months later, they moved to Florida.  They were a perfect match--and each other's "Punkin". They would have been celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary this coming Valentine's Day.

If you know Renee, you know that she is one of the sweetest, bubbliest, and most kindhearted people you'll ever meet. Her whole world has changed in an instant. There are so many expenses, and Renee is now on her own to take care of everything. She is still trying to work every night at her job.  We are hoping that some of her and Kevin's friends will be able to help them out a little, so that Renee can grieve.

Renee is also extremely talented and works from home creating clothing and personal dog carriers. She recently received an order for dog carriers, but with all of the expenses lacks the funds to purchase the material. We want to make sure she can fill this order, so that she can continue building a name for herself and her company.

Thank you for reading. Every little bit helps and will be greatly appreciated.
