Kevin Poirier's Celebration of Life

It is with great sadness that I have to share the passing of Kevin Poirier who passed away unexpectedly on the evening of Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Kevin was a dedicated, loving husband, son, brother, nephew, uncle and best friend. In 2005, Kevin married the love of his life, Dina Poirier (Coughlin). Kevin and Dina were together for over 26 years. In the past four months, Kevin lost four groomsmen in his wedding party including two of his lifelong very best friends, his brother Danny who died 8 days prior to Kevin and his brother-in-law, Peter, who was buried the same day that Kevin died. To say the family is grieving is a gross understatement. The loss that Dina and the family are experiencing is unfathomable to comprehend. Kevin was 57 yrs. old and while he resided in East Boston for many years, Kevin grew up in Everett where everyone knew him. Kevin’s reputation of love, loyalty and devotion was beyond measure. Kevin was larger than life and was the first one to help someone in need.

 

With all of the emotional pain and stress that a death brings, it also brings financial burdens. We are trying to raise money for Dina to assist with all the funeral arrangements so that Kevin’s sendoff is exactly what he deserves. We want to help alleviate some of the financial hardship for his wife Dina and his family.

 

It is in these times of loss and sadness when people come together to help one another make it through, to support the people we care for. Any support you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. Lastly, I would ask that you please keep Dina, Kelly, Billy, Sue, Aunt Ruthie , Aunt Joanie and many nieces & nephews in your thoughts and prayers.
