Kevin O'Brien "KOB" FDNY

Hi, my name is Retired FDNY Captain Jim Newman Engine 247; I, along with retired members of Ladder 86 and Engine 166, would like to raise funds for my brother-in-law, FDNY retired firefighter Kevin O'Brien, aka "KOB" Ladder 86. Kevin was a member of the FDNY for 22 years before an injury forced his retirement. It's time to help a brother who spent many years raising funds for families of fallen firefighters. Kevin was a key organizer for the Al Ronaldson Golf Outing for ten years, then continued his dedication to raising funds through the 9/11 Golf outing in Myrtle Beach, SC. Unfortunately, Kevin suffered a catastrophic stroke in November 2021 and has lost the ability to eat, speak, and walk. Kevin is now at home and in need of 24-hour care. Unfortunately, the full extent of care is not fully covered by insurance. Kevin and his family need our help. Funds raised will be used for round-the-clock care, improved medical equipment and the cost of providing continued physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
