Kevin Noteboom: Medical & Memorial fund

Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dad Kevin Noteboom on Tuesday, May 26th 2020 due to residual damage from COVID19.  Kevin was an unbelievably talented artist, wonderful father, loving grandfather, and was cherished very deeply by those knew him. For more about his story you can follow this link: https://www.facebook.com/abbey.noteboom

Our concern now is for his partner Sara. She has lost her best friend, her twin flame, her great love. On top of the pain and grief she is feeling, she now has to worry about expenses. She is unable to afford the apartment they shared and will have to uproot her life and move out of the place they shared so many happy memories together.  Unforunatley with his standing medical bills, his assets will not be available to her.

Angie and I know our dad would have never wanted her to worry about finances at a time when she is already grieving so desperately. We want to make sure she can work on healing rather than worrying about bills.

She has already missed a fair amount of work in the past month trying to cope with the stress and worry as we watched Kevin decline so severely. She will need to pay June rent as the first is just around the corner,  break their lease which comes with a hefty fee, and pay a deposit for a new place, along with other moving expenses.  We arent sure how much time we will need, to find her a new place, clean, and pack up the old apartment.  We know that with the inevitable expenses,  Angie and I won’t be able to help as much as we wish we could.

Any remaining funds  will be used towards memorial services and expenses. We have discussed purchasing and dedicating a bench to him at one of the nature preserves he loved so much. Nature walks were his favorite and we know it hurt him that they became shorter and less frequent as his health declined. No surprise to anyone who knew him well, he never finished a walk without looking for fresh catnip to bring home to his best boy Banjo <3 Classic Kev.

It  feels a bit strange requesting financial help, but pride aside, we know my dad would be so happy knowing Sara was taken care of. If you are unable to give financially, we ask that you please,  please wear a mask in public to honor Kevin and help curb the spread of COVID19.

Thank you for all of the kind words. Your stories and memories have helped us laugh, cry happy tears, and have taught things we never knew about our rad dad, Kev.

Our sincerest gratitude,

Abbey and Angie
