It's with immense sadness and disbelief that we announce the passing of Kevin McMullen. He passed away on March 27, 2022 leaving behind his adorable, loving children, Finn (almost 2) and Emerie (5 mo), and his wife and soulmate Ashley. May we find peace that he is no longer in pain.

Kevin was an amazing father, husband, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was genuine, charismatic, hilarious, and he truly had a heart of gold. Kevin was passionate about many things... music, witty T-shirts, the Chicago Cubs & Blackhawks, Old Style, Birkenstocks, but many of us remember him for his passion for food. He turned that passion into a career as a chef. A career that touched so many lives. He was a mentor, a leader, and one that most will never forget inside and outside of the kitchen.

 

Anyone that knew Kevin would probably say there will never be another like him. Kevin had an infectious laugh, the best smile, and he gave the best hugs. He deeply cared about every person that came into his life, and took it upon himself to make sure they felt  accepted, loved, respected, and protected. Kevin always went out of his way to ensure everyone in his life was taken care of, and I am sure it would mean the world if he knew his family was taken care of during this time.
