On Thursday, March 17, 2022, our dear cousin, brother, son, nephew, and friend, Kevin, (27 years old), passed away unexpectedly from a heart condition. He died peacefully as he slept snuggled with his dog, Sparty. Everyone who knew Kevin is extremely heartbroken.
Kevin was loved by all that knew him. He lit up a room as soon as he entered, first with his positive energy, then a big hug or fist bump, a smile, and some joke to make everyone laugh! Kevin had a heart of gold. He was the light of many people's lives. He lived life to the fullest.
Kevin was pursuing his degree in sports management from Rochester University. He was the team manager of the RU Warriors wrestling team, coached by his cousin, Wesley Maskill. He was a huge motivator, leader, and friend to all on the team. Also, he attended and 'fired up' all the Warriors teams, as he assisted his cousin, Wesley, who was the sports information director stat all the games.
In honor of Kevin, we ask for any monetary donation you can give to help with upcoming, unexpected expenses his family may endure. This has been a horrific tragedy and loss for all of us. We love you, Kevin Gerard! (pictured above is Kevin and his sister Paige)
Quotes from Kev, "Everybody love everybody" "you gotta risk it to get the bisquit"
"If you can help someone, do it!" "how ya doin' keep it movin'!"
