Kevin Marchetti Medical Fund

Donation protected
Hi everyone I’ve started this GoFundMe for my brother Kevin Marchetti who has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. He is known around Pensacola as the Renaissance Man (because he can do or make almost anything) and is the owner of Renaissance Fabrications. Kevin has diagnosed with stage four cancer ♋️ and has some insurance but he said the policy isn’t very good and won’t be nearly adequate to cover all the insane costs he is facing. He is raising 4 boys as well. He’s already had a PET scan which costs between $3,300 to $12,000. Next he has surgery, chemotherapy and radiation which is going to cost tens of thousands of dollars. Each chemotherapy treatment is $20,000 and his insurance only pays $1,500 The copayment is going to be thousands more than he can possibly afford. He has his own business so he has no sick leave and doesn’t get paid if he can’t work. He used to have good insurance when he worked at Westinghouse but when the plant closed he had to get resourceful and started doing odd jobs out of his garage. He is very good at what he does and soon was able to open his own shop where he turned his welding and people skills into functional art and practical railings, gates, chandeliers and soaring art installations. He created the sculpture at the foot of the three mile bridge, on the Gulf Breeze side, and several other sculptures in the Pensacola area. While Kevin is an accomplished artist and master metal craftsman he is best known for his loving nature, weekly jam sessions and boundless optimism. He is very involved in the Pensacola community. He participated in the United Way Big Brother, Big Sister program for years and was named Big Brother of the year in 1999. He is also very involved in the local arts and music scene. In addition Kevin was voted Father of the Year based on an essay written by one of his sons. We know this is a hard time so we are extra appreciative for whatever you can contribute. Even $5 can make a difference. Small donations really add up quickly. Thanks so much for reading this. His metal art can be found in many local homes, restaurants and businesses. He had a one man art show of his sculptures on Gallery Night in Pensacola. Kevin supports local businesses with donations of original metal fabricated awards, music stands and many other innovative items. Kevin is a loving father to four growing boys, a devoted son, loyal brother and fabulous friend. He always makes time for people and though he might be late for the party, he will always be there for you. When he’s with you he gives you his complete attention. Now it’s time for us to be there for him. Would you please support him while he makes this challenging journey? Now is the time to let him know you have his back like he’s always had ours. We know this is a hard time during this raging Covid-19 virus pandemic so what ever you can give to help will be especially appreciated. Thank you for reading this and supporting Kevin during this critical time. #JamShackKevin #RenaissanceMan #GreatHuggerKevin, #LoveNotWarKevin #InventorKevin #FishingKevin #ArtistKevin #NatureLoverKevin #HumanityLoverKevin #CancerWarriorKevin
