Kevin Lombard

On February 1, 2023, Kevin Lombard— beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend— lost his battle with congestive heart failure after over a year of fighting heart arrhythmia. While waiting for a new heart, he was eventually admitted to the ICU where he quickly deteriorated and eventually passed due to complications. Even while struggling in the hospital, Kevin was a light to everyone around him— making friends with his teams of nurses and doctors.

This was a common theme throughout Kevin’s wonderful life. He never failed to make someone smile. Kevin leaves behind a wonderful wife Jennifer, a son Sean, a daughter Ryley, a daughter Becca, three stepchildren, 2 sisters, a brother, his sweet mother, many loving nieces and nephews, and seemingly uncountable friends. Kevin enjoyed the little things— whether it be camping, bird watching, playing Backgammon with his wife, traveling, listening to Pink Floyd, or playing cards with family.

After loving each other for 7 years, Kevin and Jennifer were both able to get married in October of 2021 and start their second chance at love together. Unfortunately, shortly after, Kevin was diagnosed and their dreams of exploring the world together were crushed. They took every opportunity to spend their limited time exploring new places, but as Kevin’s health quickly declined they were bound to the confines of their home and eventually the hospital— awaiting a heart that never came.

After being diagnosed Kevin had to leave his job, causing the family to be supported by his wife (a Highschool English teacher). Amidst this, Kevin underwent multiple surgeries and procedures and used dozens of expensive medications to hold out for a miracle. He was very saddened that he could no longer work and never wanted his family to be left with debt. All donations will go towards his memorial service and helping his wife pay medical bills— thank you to everyone who shows love to him and his family in any way.
