February 2011 Kevin at the age of 25 was diagnosed with Cancer and giving 6 months to live. But the Doctors didn't know who they were talking to. Kevin, a man of God and strong faith fought the good fight till the very end. Never wavering in his belief that God could heal him.
Kevin aka Prince K DA Godfather was a singer, songwriter, producer, promoter and Manager of Gospel Music and Christian Rap. Throughout countless chemo and radiation treatments, no matter how weak he was his love for the Lord and worshiping Him through music never ceased.
The bible says "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father who is in heaven" and Kevin did just that. He never complained, uplifted those when we should have been uplifting him. And always was thankful for every waking moment.
On Monday, September 19, 2016, Kevin went home to be with the Lord. With family and friends by his side and his song "I will be made whole again" playing, Kevin opened his eyes, looked at his mother and said goodbye. Kevin has now been. Healed just like he knew his Father could do.
Kevin was a son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, friend and mentor to many. At this time we are asking for help to give Kevin the Home Going Celebration he deserves.
