Kevin Kees' Second Heart Surgery Support
Donation protected
As a 52-year-old man within spitting distance of the start of my 53rd year, I am almost ashamed and quite embarrassed that I have to create a GoFundMe for myself to help with the costs of an upcoming open-heart surgery in a few weeks. But here I am, swallowing my pride, hoping that I'm not thought less of for having to ask for a little assistance.
In a few weeks, I'm scheduled to have my second heart surgery in less than five years. The first one went well enough, but I didn't recover properly after, with inflammation settling around my heart from the surgery that did not go away and still has yet to go away completely. Because of this, I have been unable to work at all since that surgery in July of 2020, and I have been living off of savings ever since. I am at a point now that the travel, room & board costs, and any unplanned medical expenses associated with this trip to Mayo Clinic in FL for my open-heart surgery will severely deplete what savings I still have left for everyday bills and necessities.
This is the surgery that should put a bow on everything needed to finally get me back to good health so that I can live life again to its fullest and, fingers crossed, will allow me to get back to work at my careers as a pilot and a fireman part-time!
I'm humbly asking for donations to help me with my travel, room & board (before and after surgery), and any unexpected medical costs for my open-heart surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL, coming up in a few weeks. If you plan on giving, I can't thank you enough; my love and gratitude for your generosity will not go unnoticed or unappreciated! I'd like to ask that if you give or not, please share this GoFundMe with others to help get it out circulating; it would be GREATLY appreciated!!! For those who decide to help out and donate, because of your love and generosity, I would like to tell you, if you ever need anything and I can help (once I heal up, of course), I would be happy to do so.
Sincerely,
Thanks, Thanks, Thanks,
