Kevin Jeffries Emergency Recovery Fund

Donation protected
Dear Friends and Fam,

On the night of Sunday, January 7, Kevin Jeffries was brutally injured in a hit-and-run car collision on Irving Avenue. As some of you may know, his friends Kiwi and Breakfast were also severely injured in this crash, and a fourth passenger named Hayden did not survive.

After a scary couple of days, Kevin has been conscious and responsive, although he has had an extremely limited ability to speak and move. His medical team is confident he will make a full recovery, and now that his condition is beginning to improve, his family and friends have been able to start planning the next steps in his care. It has become clear that his recovery will involve extensive time and substantial resources.

It has impressed and consoled Kevin’s family to see the amount of love his community has expressed for him thus far. We have coordinated closely with his parents to ensure their comfort with this campaign— they would greatly appreciate any help with the costs of his recovery.

Please consider donating to this effort to subsidize Kevin’s recovery process, and/or sharing with your network. We want our friend back, laughing with us, dancing with us, holding us tight.

Because Kevin is still unable to use a phone or computer at this time, we have assigned his father, Kevin Jeffries (Sr.), with whom Kevin has a close and trusting relationship, as the beneficiary. This campaign was created by Angus O'Brien, Kevin's best friend. The funds will be used to pay any outstanding balance for medical bills associated with his immediate care, including an emergency operation and ongoing hospital stay since the accident, as well as for any long-term treatment that may be necessary, such as physical therapy and/or home care. The funds may also be used to assist Kevin and his parents with living and travel costs while their lives are paused to attend to his recovery. Kevin Jeffries (Sr.) will be handling the funds as the beneficiary to his sons recovery funds.

Please also consider sharing/supporting campaigns for Kiwi and Breakfast, Kevin’s close friends who were also injured in the crash, linked below:
