Dear friends and family,
One of our own has been stricken with the terrifying “C." To be specific, Squamous Cell Carcinoma (of the neck), also referred to as SCC. This campaign has been started to raise funds to support Kevin and his family during this difficult time. Kevin has a long battle ahead of him, so to help ease the stress of medical bills and loss of income, I would ask that we all come together and give. Kevin is self-employed and works off of 100% commission, therefore, he has no short-term or long-term disability coverage that will pay him while he’s receiving treatment and/or surgery. As some of you know, his lovely daughter was stricken with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma not that long ago and is kickin’ it in the ACE, but unfortunately, due to financial strains in 2015, Kevin had to let their Cancer policy lapse, which was just 7 months before his Katie fell ill. Kevin is one of the good guys, y’all. He needs us, so let’s be there for him and his family.
2 Corinthians 12:9 “And he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest on me."
