Kevin Duarte’s Medical Savings

Hello, My name is Kylie Peltier, I’m Kevin Duarte’s daughter as im sure most of you know. Im setting up this GoFundMe in hopes to raise money for my dad’s medical expenses as well as his housing expenses! In October of 2020 my father had his first stroke due to a blood clot in his brain. After emergency surgery to try and remove the clot, they were only partially successful and only managed to remove a portion of the clot until a later time. In November of 2020 my dad went in for another surgery for the rest of the clot, during the surgery he had an aneurysm in a main artery inside of his brain, this cut oxygen to the part of his brain that processes vision. Unfortunately this has resulted in my dad losing his vision. The most recent stroke has effected my dads vision, short term memory and mental health. We are raising money in hopes to get him into his own apartment with 24 hour in home care! My dad is only 54 and deserves a long happy life! He has affected so many people in such positive ways and really does deserve the absolute world!
