Kevin joined the team at Dr. Funk in June 2025 and quickly became part of the family and a guest favorite, whether behind the bar, serving tables or making his acting debut in our Instagram reels. In addition to working at Dr. Funk, Kevin is a full-time student studying business and working toward earning his degree.

On April 3, Kevin was walking in San Francisco to meet a friend when he was robbed and assaulted by four individuals who targeted him because he was alone. He suffered a severe injury to his jaw, which was broken in two places and required surgery on April 8.

Kevin is now recovering from surgery but will be unable to return to work for at least six weeks while his jaw remains wired shut. Even after the wires are removed, he may need additional time for recovery, including physical and speech therapy.
