On October 10, 2020 there was a fatal car accident involving Kevin and three of his friends.  Kevin joined HashiCorp a year and a half ago, and has been an invaluable member of the Solutions Engineering team.  During his time here the impact he had was nothing short of incredible.  His passion for his work was infectious, and every interaction with him was a positive one.  He made you want to be a better person. His commitment to his work, his friends, and family was inspiring.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Jo Anna, and two children Macalan and Ryan.

Nothing can ever prepare a family for something like this. Kevin was passionate about providing for his kids and their future.  In order to best support the family please consider contributing to what Kevin was most passionate about.
