In a matter of moments, Kevin’s life changed in a way no one could have imagined. On May 5, he suffered a stroke that required emergency brain surgery. What followed was the beginning of a long road back, filled with rehabilitation, determination and countless hours of hard work.
Today, there is so much to be grateful for. Kevin’s recovery is going well, and he is on track for a full recovery by December.
For years, Kevin has dedicated his career to developing, mentoring and creating opportunities for young baseball players through the Chicago White Sox ACE program, Pullman Ballers and the Cincinnati Reds.
On August 4, while Kevin was still recovering from his stroke and medically unable to return to work, his employment with the Cincinnati Reds was terminated.
We are asking for support to help Kevin bridge the financial gap during these remaining months of recovery, including health insurance, medical expenses and everyday living costs, so he can continue focusing on his health and getting back to work.
Kevin has spent years investing in young people and making a difference through the game he loves. Any support during this unexpected chapter, whether through a donation, a share, or simply keeping Kevin in your thoughts, would be deeply appreciated.
Thank you for supporting Kevin on his road back to full health.
