Kevin & Cindy Need Our Help, Please Donate...

***Update*** Kevin unfortunately passed away on Thursday 10/19/23 with his family by his side. Please consider a donation to help Cindy with his funeral expenses. Kevin fought a hard battle with cancer over the last few years and spent many days and nights traveling to Bangor and Boston for treatment. Unfortunately, due to his inability to work, he wasn't able to afford a life insurance policy and the costs of the medical appointments, medical expenses and other expenses related to his treatments. If you can help his family I would greatly appreciate it, and I am sure they would too. Hi my name is Tim Stitham, Kevin Goodine has been a great friend of mine for many years and I consider him the big brother I never had. As some may know, Kevin has been battling serious health issues the past few years and his situation has drastically worsened. Prayers for a miracle are needed, but so isn't some financial assistance for the family while they walk through this time with their loved one. I hope we can show Kevin how much he is loved and support him the way he has supported others in the past. Please give if so moved, but if giving is not possible please keep praying for him and his family.

Anyone that knows Kevin knows that he would and has given the shirt off his back to help a perfect stranger. From his 15+ years as a volunteer firefighter in his hometown of Washburn to serving on the CERT team, Kevin has put in the time and effort to ensure his community was safe and prepared for what disasters may come our way. In addition, Kevin was the Trail Master for Washburn Trail Runners for many years and spent countless hours donating his time to trail excellence and even coming to the aid of strangers in the middle of the night on those cold sub-zero evenings. This isn't a fluke, Kevin has always donated his time and finances to help others in their time of need. Often times in the shadows without anyone knowing it was him and his wife Cindy that helped fill the void.

Now is our turn to return the favor and give his family a little piece of mind while they walk this path with Kevin. These funds donated to help fill the void will go to help Kevin, Cindy and the family with whatever God has planned for him in these days ahead. No donation is too big or too small and I can promise you that Kevin, Cindy and the family would appreciate all the help they can get in their time of need. It is my hope that we can raise enough funds to help keep their focus on Kevin.
