Hi everyone, you may or may not know that our friend and brother Bud Marcy is feeling poorly these days...back in July he underwent a quintuple heart bypass at the Royal Jubilee Hospital...he returned home in October ...and its been up and down ever since...in fact he's back in NRGH again. as I type this (December 30,2025) and will likely be there until he's stablized.

To all that have ever met Kevin, before retiring he was a master promoter in the entertainment industy and as a graphic designer along with his partner at EyeMean Grpahics...they were second to none for creativity, and inspiration, their client base reached right across North America...they're that good!

As you know, Kev was instrumental in promoting the music scene in Nanaimo, and a driving force in helping all of us in with our careers in the entertainment industry..he was Nanaimos version of Alexsis Korner (Blues Inc) or John Mayall's (Bluesbreakers) , and saw many of you come through The Houserockers over the years, his dedication to community service and fund raising events, Battle of the Bands and promotions of your individual and collective talent would almost be impossible to duplicate now.

I for one would not have had the success I did with Mission Control had it not been for him taking me under his wing.

So please, lets pony up and give him a financial hand., the money will be used for inhome care domestic and medical, incidentals, travel to Victoria, CPAP. BICAP and those pesky taxes and utilities..give a little, give alot, whatever you can spare will be much appreciated.
