Kevin and Debra Crawford: Gray Fire Relief
Donation protected
Friends, family, co-workers and community of Kevin and Debbie Crawford. My name is Hailey Keopha, their oldest daughter, and I am reaching out in regard to the Grey Fire that has devastatingly impacted our family. On Friday night they lost their home along with all their possessions. My father, who works for the Spokane Valley Fire Department, called Rhylee and me to let us know my mother was able to evacuate the house and flee Medical Lake with the family pets, just ahead of the fire. Currently we are together, and everyone is safe. We are beyond thankful for that. Since Friday we have had a lot of people reach out, checking in and offering help. We are still trying to process and pick up the pieces…but wanted to provide a link for people that have been asking how to help. For those of you looking to donate, any amount helps while they are recovering and building a new life. We appreciate any support in any form and prayers are dearly appreciated.
As children, our parents are the foundation of our lives and provide endless support to help us build and grow. If any of you know my parents, they are some of the most giving, welcoming, and caring people. I know they won’t ask for help, and would rather any help go to someone they deem more deserving or in need. My sister and I would love nothing more than to provide the support they have unconditionally shown us over the years, and to help them rebuild their lives. This is something our hearts struggle with, not being able to provide more for them. We are asking for support now to help our parents the way they have helped support us our whole lives.
While we are blessed with the love of our family and reminded that home is not a place but the people you are with. We are slowly encountering the necessities of daily life you don't think about until they are no longer available. While we as a family are still figuring things out, the funds will immediately be used for food and replacing essential items that they did not leave with that day. Long-term, the funds will be used to reestablish and rebuild. Thank you.
