Kevan strong!

Hey! My name is Shannon and I’m organizing a go fund me for my brother in law Kevan and his family! They have a long journey ahead of them as they just found out my sister is pregnant and her husband Kevan just got diagnosed with throat cancer. Kevan was having trouble breathing last Sunday night during the night so Monday morning my sister took him to ER. This is where they told her that he was very sick. I didn't understand. They ran a CT, where the doctors found a large mass on his tonsil. His radiologist determined the cancer was on his tonsils, tongue, and left lymph nodes. From there, we needed a PET scan which was scheduled for Thursday of this week. We also needed to see the ONE ENT in town that specializes in this. Fast forward to today, he went to the ENT where they decided that he will need to have a tracheotomy done as soon as possible because of his breathing due to his mass pushing on his airway. So tomorrow, he will get a biopsy of his left lymph node, and the tracheotomy done. He will need to stay in the hospital for a week. He will be at Kern medical under some of the best care.
